With RCS-I on the horizon, therapy services will be reduced and restorative nursing will increase, putting more pressure on nursing staff. As facilities stop getting paid for the volume of therapy minutes and begin getting paid for outcomes, directors of nursing must be confident that their staff can deliver high quality outcomes with less therapy and the same staff.
