Do you need 10 or more memberships or do you have 10 or more facilities looking for access to both AADNS and the American Association of Nurse Assessment Coordination, AADNS's sister association? AADNS offers a variety of professional development partnership (PDP) options to meet the needs of your organization.
Benefits of a Professional Development Partnership
As with any partnership, the one big question is: What’s in it for me? Here are just some of the benefits you can put to work for you immediately.
- Be prepared for the transition to PDPM - This new payment system will be unlike anything SNFs have seen before! Get your organization, facilities, and teams ready with resources and training available from AADNS.
- Enhance the bottom line with RAC-CT – Your MDS coordinators are responsible for ensuring MDS accuracy and overseeing the RAI process, which are key drivers in the quality of care provided by your facility and the financial health of your organization. Found out how inaccurate MDS coding can impact your reimbursement.
- Reduce staff turnover and related costs - Nurses have consistently identified growth and development opportunities as important factors that promote retention in LTC facilities, and with the average to replace an employee being close to 50% of the employee’s salary, providing your staff with access to online education and training is a win-win. An AAPACN group membership offers cost-effective staff education options and ensures your team is on the same page.
How a Professional Development Partnership Works
The discounted membership rate is determined by the number of members or facilities included in the partnership. Agreements are for two years and begin on the first of the month with payment due at that time for the first year of member access. At the end of your first year, we'll send an invoice for the second year of member access. Education is billed monthly based on the number of education courses purchased. PDPs enjoy an extra 10-40% discount off the member price for online education and virtual workshops.
