The American Association of Directors of Nursing Services (AADNS) is a subsidiary of the American Association of Post-Acute Care Nursing (AAPACN). Together with its sister association, the American Association of Nurse Assessment Coordination (AANAC), AADNS represents more than 16,000 healthcare clinicians from over 5,750 nursing homes within the long-term and post acute-care care field, covering the full spectrum of the profession.
AADNS is dedicated to leading and empowering DONs/DNSs with best-in-class education, resources, legislative representation, and a strong collaborative community that advocates for and ensures resident-directed long-term and post-acute care communities.
AADNS provides members with 24/7 access to online resources, training tool kits, a peer-to-peer community, the SOM, and other pertinent government sources documents. Our education is developed to help nurse leaders excel at any stage of their career. AADNS members find value in their membership by receiving up-to-date information on important topics, including:
Corporate compliance
